ONLINE COURSES
Some of our online courses come with a money-back guarantee, while others have a no refund policy. The specific details are stated on the relevant subpages of each course.

Yet, some of our online courses (such as the Essential Path of our 200-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training) have a no refund policy.
The tuition paid for these online courses is non-refundable: Unfortunately, you cannot cancel your purchase once it is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience, and would like to point out that this is a very common & widespread practice in the world of online courses. Thank you very much for understanding.
ONSITE & HYBRID COURSES
Life's unpredictability shouldn't hinder your learning journey. For our onsite retreats, we offer a flexible cancellation policy to accommodate unforeseen changes.
Full Refunds:
Change of plans? No problem. Cancel your reservation more than 180 days before the retreat's start, and we'll issue a 100% refund. Plan your learning experience with the assurance that you're safeguarded against the unexpected.
Partial Refunds:
If you cancel between 120 days and 180 days before the retreat, we offer a 50% refund, ensuring that you still retain half of your investment.
If your plans change between 90 days and 120 days before the retreat, we can still offer a 25% refund.
No Refunds:
We encourage careful planning, as cancellations less than 90 days before the course start cannot be refunded.
However, we're here to discuss any concerns or special circumstances you might have.
We truly appreciate your understanding, and we trust that we can find ways to manifest our shared yogic adventures. We do our best to support you and ensure an uplifting & flexible learning experience.
Certification Policy
In compliance with the official Yoga Alliance standards, attendance to all classes is mandatory to complete the certified course successfully. In the event of medical emergencies and properly excused absence, students may miss up to 20 hours of classes. Legitimate reasons could be sickness or administrative issues, e.g. visa.
Besides punctuality and attendance requirements, students must also complete all assignments, demonstrate an understanding of the training content in a final exam and successfully complete their teaching practicums.
Upon successful graduation, students will receive an officially recognized Yoga Instructor Certificate. With this degree, the Akasha Yoga Academy authorizes its graduates to become Registered Yoga Teachers and members of the renowned US-based Yoga Alliance. The accredited certificate entitles them to sign up as a Registered Yoga Teachers.
Liability Disclaimer
The Akasha Yoga Academy does not offer any liability insurance for individuals and groups who take part in the offered courses. The hopeful participant releases and discharges the Akasha Yoga Academy and its employees from any claims and demands for injury or damage related to the participation in the events. (A detailed liability release waiver will be provided in the registration form / in the beginning chapters of our online courses.)

Giveaway Redemption Policy
Purpose:
This policy outlines the terms and conditions for the redemption of giveaways offered by Akasha Yoga Academy. The purpose is to ensure fair usage and clear understanding among recipients regarding the timeframe within which the giveaway must be utilized.
Scope:
This policy applies to all giveaways issued by Akasha Yoga Academy, including but not limited to free classes, workshops, courses, and other promotional items.
Policy Details:
1. Redemption Period:
Recipients of any giveaway from Akasha Yoga Academy must redeem their giveaway within one (1) year from the date of issuance.
The issuance date is defined as the date on which the giveaway was officially awarded to the recipient.
2. Notification:
The redemption period will be clearly stated on all giveaway communication, including email notifications, physical vouchers, and digital certificates.
3. Non-Transferability:
Giveaways are non-transferable and must be used by the individual to whom they were issued.
Any attempt to transfer or sell the giveaway will result in its forfeiture.
4. Expiration:
Unredeemed giveaways will expire one year from the issuance date and will no longer be valid or honored.
Recipients are encouraged to use their giveaways well before the expiration date to avoid any inconvenience.
5. Extensions and Exceptions:
