Thank you for helping me grow and dive deeper.”

Teacher Training Graduates
“The two who train you are Burkhard & Kirsten. They’re a couple, not married, from Germany. Truly fabulous teachers, they remain professional 100% of the time, two very different personalities that complement the training (& each other) beautifully. And they’re both extremely passionate about teaching. The kindness is overwhelming from these two.”

Spiritual Heart Meditation Retreat
“Before I took the 3-Day Hridaya Retreat, I didn’t really know how to meditate. During the three days, I felt so peaceful, and at one with nature, with myself. It was 3 intense days building up “meditation muscles” somehow!
That was 4 months ago. Now, meditation is a part of my life. Now I know what to do. And I feel so grounded and ready for the day after it. I’ve meditated for about 30 minutes a day since. It wouldn’t be this way without those profound 3 days to guide me in. Who would have thought that 3 days could impact someone so strongly?

“I was lucky enough to attend Burkhard and Kirsten’s Hridaya Retreat in May 2012. It was such a beautiful, humbling experience, and for me, the perfect introduction to Spiritual Heart meditation. The workshop structure was a really well-balanced mix of meditation, Hatha Yoga and short lectures which all seemed to flow naturally from one another. The talks were really well-prepared and covered many aspects of spirituality which I was questioning and gave me much to reflect on.
On a personal note, I found both Burkhard and Kirsten to be truly inspirational facilitators, both of whom have an obvious gift for teaching and genuine passion for sharing a style of meditation in which they are both beautiful examples of its benefits in daily life.”

“Being part of the Pranayama Workshops has been a true blessing. I feel so grateful for having been led to your authentic teachings from the Heart. Your beautiful energy full of wisdom, profound experience and integrity makes me realize how important it is to receive teachings in the most conductive environment much of which is created by the gifted transmitters.
Apart from the wonderful teachings that you shared with gift, joy and admirable humbleness, I feel how deeply your careful observations and pertinent perceptions have affected not only my Pranayama practice, but my entire Sadhana to new levels of profoundness. The workshops have been an inspiring, blissful and lovely experience which I can feel will stay with me.”
– Guillaume from France, May 2012
“What a blessing it was to participate in the recent Pranayama Workshop with two wonderful teachers so clearly committed to their paths. They transmit the joy of practice in an informative, inspiring way. The workshop itself was broken up into segments which eased us through asana practice, discourses and theory, pranayama practice and meditation. I appreciated the clear teachings, the depth of theory, the course papers and the direction towards further teachings and support materials. Together, Kirsten and Burkhard create a harmonious, reflective space conducive to intensive yet relaxed pranayama practice. They have changed my practice and given me a new outlook on this yogic practice. Namaste.”
